BBC Arts are delighted to invite you to the Civilisations Festival Conference on Tuesday 5 September 2017 in Manchester. It will take place from 2pm – 4.30pm at the Manchester Museum, The University of Manchester, Oxford Road, Manchester M13 9PL.

It is an opportunity to find out more about becoming part of the Civilisations Festival and the benefits for partners. The conference will discuss how best to put a spotlight on the work of museums in Spring 2018 to coincide with the transmission of the BBC Arts series Civilisations on BBC Two and beyond.

There’ll be demonstrations of the exciting digital technology BBC Arts have been developing (which will be available to share with partners) plus the opportunity for comment and feedback. You will be able to meet and hear from Civilisations programme makers, Museums and BBC representatives from across the UK. It’s also a chance to share thoughts across the sector and ask questions.
