Date: Wednesday 10th February 2021

The second of three bite-sized sessions from Roots HR. In this webinar Roots HR will outline key knowledge for anyone planning to recruit volunteers in 2021. Each session will be a presentation followed by a short Q&A.

After the session you will:

  • Have an awareness of the legal framework of recruiting volunteers
  • Understand different ways to attract volunteers to your museum
  • Have an awareness of the practical steps you could take to select the best volunteers for your museum
  • Better understand recruiting and selecting volunteers in the time of Covid-19

This training is suitable for those who may be new to managing volunteers, or experienced delegates hoping to refresh their knowledge. Delegates may book any or all of the sessions.

Priority will be given to delegates from non-NPO and non-National museums in the West Midlands which are Accredited or officially Working Towards Accreditation.

The session will be live captioned by MyClearText, through StageText.

All participants will receive an email containing a Zoom link to the training prior to the event. If you have not received an email by the day of the webinar please contact us. Don’t worry; you don’t need a Zoom account, simply follow the link provided and enter the password.

If the booking button isn’t visible the webinar is fully booked.  If you want to join the waiting list email wmmd@ironbridge.org.uk
