Date: Wednesday 25th September 2019

Carbon Literacy means being aware of the impact of everyday activities on the climate, and knowing what steps can be taken to reduce emissions as an individual, a community group, or an organisation, and why it’s important that we all take these steps.  Delegates who complete this approved Carbon Literacy learning can be certified as Carbon Literate.

Delegates will gain an understanding of climate change and its effects, providing sufficient information to make informed decisions about what they can do to reduce their own carbon footprint and that of the organisation.

The training will be delivered by Museum Development North West which is a certified Carbon Literacy Training Organisation, qualified to devise and deliver Carbon Literacy training.  To date they have delivered training to over 200 staff and volunteers from cultural organisations in the North West and beyond.

Certification, lunch and refreshments are included.
