How to use Drama to invigorate your Education Offer, through the Narrative Immersion approach

Empowering workshop facilitators to use drama processes in their sessions and deliver the Narrative Immersion approach.

By the end of the day delegates will have:

  • Experienced a Narrative Immersion approach to a museum inspired education workshop
  • Evaluated the impact that Teacher Persona can have in workshop delivery:
    • Teacher as Facilitator
    • Teacher in Role
    • Teacher as Narrator
  • Engaged with a range of Drama Strategies – the What? How? And Why? of each, including Teacher Persona
  • Examined the principles of creative learning and how our facilitation can enhance learning for creativity

Teas and coffees will be provided, delegates are asked to bring their own lunch.

Priority will be given to staff/volunteers from non-NPO West Midlands museums which are Accredited or officially Working Towards Accreditation.
