Date: Wednesday 30th October 2019
  • Are you thinking about introducing charging or revising your approach to charging for admission?
  • Are you considering starting or reviewing a membership scheme?
  • Do you have a food and beverage or retail offer?

This one day course is for those who want to maximise their income from customers and embed a more joined-up approach in their organisation to doing so.  You will explore the relationship between income that is generated from admissions, affiliation (e.g. memberships) and through cultural trading, and how change in one area impacts income in another.  You will identify the opportunities for your organisation to increase its earned income.

The workshop will include a mix of theory, practical case studies and examples and discussion in respect of your organisation’s particular situation.

This course is suitable for senior managers.

Debbie Richards is Director of Baker Richards, a firm which specialises in helping cultural organisations and attractions achieve their commercial potential.  Recent clients include Brooklands Museum, English Heritage, National Galleries of Scotland, RSC, The Roman Baths and the Zoological Society of London
