Date: Monday 2nd March 2020

Join us for this exciting event where participants in our Revealing Hidden Histories programme talk about the stories that have been revealed about areas of their collections.  Seven museums worked with subject specialists to research objects within their collections.  The work has enabled the museums to find out more about their collections and has uncovered interesting stories and related histories.

Jen Ridding and Rebecca Randle from the Barber Institute of Fine Art will also join us to speak about their programme of decolonising the collections.

This is an ideal opportunity to find out more about how your museum can become involved in the Revealing Hidden Histories project which will be running again as part of the West Midlands Museum Development programme in 2020.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Priority will be given to delegates from non-NPO and non-National museums in the West Midlands which are Accredited or officially Working Towards Accreditation.   Maximum of one delegate per organisation.

Click below to book.  If the button is not visible this event is fully booked.  Please email wmmd@ironbridge.org.uk if you wish to be added to the waiting list.
