This Kids in Museum training day will bring together a range of perspectives and explore practical ways to make your venue more welcoming, accessible and inclusive to people with autism.
The day will help delegates to:
- gain an insight into how families and young people with autism experience your venues
- find out how other organisations have made low and no cost changes in response to consultation with this audience
- think about small changes you could make in your venue to be more welcoming to this audience
- explore ideas on how to embed practice, make new local partnerships, evaluate provision and create self-guided resources
