Kids in Museums have launched their new website, take a look at it here.
It details changes that they have made to the programme such as introducing a second Takeover Day each year and introducing categories to the Family Friendly Museum Award.
The key dates for Kids in Museums activity in 2019 are:
- Monday 25 March – Nominations open for the Family Friendly Museum Award 2019
- Friday 31 May – Nominations close for the Family Friendly Museum Award 2019
- June – Shortlist announced for the Family Friendly Museum Award 2019
- Friday 28 June – Takeover Day (Summer)
- Friday 16 August – Teen Digital Takeover
- October – Family Friendly Museum of the Year 2019 will be announced at their awards ceremony
- Friday 22 November – Takeover Day (Winter)
