Family Friendly Museum Award: Opens in April
- After last year’s celebration of digital activities, 2021 sees the return of the Family Friendly Museum Award. Nominations will open in April until early June.
- In addition to categories for museums of different sizes, Kids in Museums (KiM) introducing two new categories: Best Digital Activity and Best Accessible Museum.
Digital Takeover Day: Friday 25 June 2021
- Put young people in charge of your social media channels for one day as part of KiM’s annual Digital Takeover Day.
Takeover Day: Friday 12 November 2021
- Takeover Day 2021 will be KiM’s first themed event, timed to coincide with the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow. KiM is inviting museums and heritage sites to get young people involved on the theme of climate action.
