Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust

A World Heritage Site and the beating heart of the Industrial Revolution, Ironbridge is home to 10 amazing museums that make an unforgettable experience.
Volunteers have been part of the incredible story of Ironbridge Gorge Museum since its beginnings 50 years ago – You could say it’s the home of World Heritage Volunteering!

At Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust they value the immense support which Volunteers provide. Without them, the Trust could not operate as it does today-enabling thousands of people every year to access all that Ironbridge can offer.

The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust has hundreds of volunteers across its various sites, all of whom are involved in a wide range of diverse roles.

There are so many opportunities to choose from when volunteering at Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust. Be it teaching, guiding the public, delivering welcome talks, directing visitors, becoming part of the scenery in traditional dress or helping out behind the scenes, you can be sure that you will be a valued member of the team.
