£21,968 – £24,054 (pay award pending)

Hours equate to 15 hours per week, worked around exhibition programming.

They are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Technician to join their creative and positive team.
You will be adaptable and flexible, with an ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment. Working with the curatorial and collections staff you will prepare for and help coordinate the installation of temporary exhibitions, complete technical tasks linked to education and events as well as install future permanent displays at Rugby Art Gallery & Museum. You will have access to a workshop as well as professional industry tools.
From time to time, you will also act as a Relief Centre Supervisor for the Rugby Art Gallery, Museum and Library building.
This is an ideal role for someone who is freelancing or has another role elsewhere as Rugby are planning their Exhibitions schedule in advance. They are currently working towards 2025/26, which can be discussed at interview. You will be expected to work full time during an exhibition installation with the additional hours taken as time off in lieu following their completion.
