The Gordon Russell Design Museum is looking for new volunteers to join its friendly, supportive team. The Museum’s front of house volunteers welcome visitors, give them a short introduction to the Museum and process ticket sales and shop purchases.
Volunteers can be groups, organisations and individuals from any background who share their skills and passions through giving their time to the Museum. No experience of museums and galleries is necessary, and volunteers can join our team as individuals or with a friend or family member.
The Museum provides a full training and induction programme as well as an ongoing programme of training and support throughout the year.
Benefits include a 10% discount in the Museum shop, social events throughout the year, free tickets to talks and free membership of the Museum’s Friends scheme, which includes a full programme of events and activities. The Museum also reimburses volunteers’ travel expenses.
There is no minimum commitment, and the volunteering experience can be tailored to suit the needs and interests of each individual. Please contact us to find out more.
