Volunteer Grant and Funding Co-ordinator, Waterworks Museum

Overview
● Working with Museum Directors, you will lead grant applications from the museum to a range of sources.
● This role requires a self-motivated individual

Duties
● Identify appropriate funding opportunities based on the Museum’s strategy as outlined by the Directors
● Capture local impact data including demographic data to support the evidence of need
● Work with trustees and volunteers at the museum to come up with solutions to project needs that fit funding priorities
● Write funding applications with a focus on building relationships with funding sources and supporting bodies
● Support the Directors in operational handover to prepare for new funded projects

Ideal skills and experience

● Experience of researching and identifying a range of relevant funding opportunities and submitting applications for project funding
● Experience of working within local communities and within community partners
● Knowledge of relevant funding streams
● Knowledge of community development and engagement methodologies

The role is flexible and there is no fixed time commitment.
Some work can be done remotely, from home.
Volunteers will need to become members of the Museum and Induction would be provided.
