Space Invaders: Women Museum Leaders

This conference will address issues around women’s leadership in the museum sector. The day will kick start a public debate about the lack of gender equality in museum leadership. They will bring together leading thinkers in this field with participants of the “Confidence, Choice, Connections” (CCC) leadership scheme, representatives from the Women Leaders in Museum Network (WLMN) and the wider museum workforce, to make change.
The conference has been organised by one of the CCC groups, the ‘Network for Change’. The purpose of ‘Network for Change’ is to empower members so they can explore personal and professional development with confidence and become leaders able to foster changes in the museum and heritage sector.
