FRESH PERSPECTIVES – a FREE conference to help build resilience

Come along to the beautiful Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire for a two day conference to network with museum colleagues, hear from speakers with a wealth of experience on topics including:-

  • Fundraising
  • Diversity
  • Commercialising Collections

Participate in forward thinking workshops such as:-

  • Creative Thinking
  • Moving from Local Authority to Trust
  • Event management

The two day conference is part of Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust’s Major Partner Museum and Museum Development programmes and we hope that you can invest the time to attend on both days. However you may choose to come for just one day; unless you are in receipt of a bursary.


Getting here couldn’t be easier!
There is FREE transport from the train station

By train – arrive at Telford Central and look for the Fresh Perspectives Bus!
Make sure you book your seat when registering for the conference.
Driving – Ironbridge Gorge Museum is 5 miles (8km) south of Telford Town Centre and is well signposted from M54, J4. When you leave the M54 follow the brown and white tourism signs for Ironbridge Gorge. As you get closer to the Museum follow signs for Coalbrookdale Museums.
