Want to know what your museum looks like through the eyes of the next generation?
Secret Museums is a mystery shopper programme co-created by young people (16-25 years) who will carry out ‘Secret Visits’ to six museums in the West Midlands. Young people will feedback their feelings and ideas based on their experiences with the aim to improve the heritage experience for other young people. A West Midlands Museum Development (WMMD) project in partnership with the Beatfreeks Collective.
Successful museums will receive one ‘Secret Visit’ between September to November 2017. Following on from this visit they will receive direct feedback form the young people at a sharing event on Wednesday 8 November. They will also receive a top level report from the Beatfreeks Collective.
Each museum will gain:
- One ‘Secret Visit’ from young people (16-25 years)
- Insights and direct feedback from this target market
- Top level report of the programme provided by the Beatfreeks Collective
